Sponsored by «Radio» Magazine (Russia)
Contest period: June 11, 2005 7-11 UTC (second Saturday of June each year).
Modes: CW, SSB.
Bands: 40 м, 20 м, 15 м, 10 м. Each station may be contacted once per band or once per band and mode (for MIXED class stations).
Participants: Amateur radio stations worldwide.
Entry classes: SOMB CW, SOMB SSB, SOMB MIXED, SO2R MB MIXED, MOST MIXED. Single signal only.
Contest exchange: At the first contest QSO each participant sends postal code of his own address. If postal code contents spaces or hyphens they are not transmitted. At all consequent QSO participant send the contest exchange received during previous contest QSO. These are so called «rotating numbers» as each postal code «travels» through contest and even may come back to original station.
Please mention that neither number of symbols in received contest exchange nor its content (figures, letters or both) are not predictable. Most of the countries use «figure» postal codes (4 to 6 figures), but some includes letters (example, EN63JE in UK, DK5320 in Denmark etc).
Score: Each contest QSO brings 3 points. Each DXCC entity brings 1 point for multiplier on each band (for MIXED classes irrespective of QSO mode).
Awards: Winners in single operator classes will be decorated with medals and MOST class winner will get a plaque. Their runners-up (2-3 place for SOMB CW and SOMB SSB и 2-10 place for SOMB MIXED, SO2R MB MIXED and MOST MIXED) will get special «Russian Roulette» award. There is additional true «Russian Roulette Plaque» - this plaque winner will be determined on roulette principle.
